A few more updated pictures of Cloister Caradog (Max)..
He has won the in hand foreign breed class, the championship
of the Foreign Breed and the Overall in hand show champion at one of our local shows.
He was competing against Friesians in the Foreign Breed Class and against all breeds in the overall championship.
Last weekend was the BMHS championship show - Max's first under saddle, he was 4th under saddle and 2nd in hand.

Max is home after 10 weeks dressage training.
Nach zehnwöchigem Dressurtraining ist Max zurück auf unserer Farm.
Januar 2008: Beim Freispringen zeigt sich Max gewohnt brav und verständig.
Beim longieren über Cavaletti macht er schon eine gute Figur.In diesem Jahr wird er
nur sechs Stuten decken, da er auch viel unterm Sattel vorgestellt werden soll.
January 2008: He has just been introduced to loose jumping and is proving to be very brave.
Max is making a lovely shape over small fences. This year he will be standing
to 6 mares only as he will be competing under saddle for the first time.
Dezember 2007: Max (Cloister Caradog) am Ende der dritten Woche seines Beritts. Er wird noch weitere fünf Wochen seine
Dressurausbildung fortsetzen, bevor er in den heimatlichen Stall zurückkehrt. Im täglichen Training und in
wöchentlichen Unterrichtsstunden
wird seine Ausbildung dann vertieft werden, um ihn auf die Herausforderungen im Jahr 2008 vorzubereiten.

He will continue with his classical dressage training for a further 5 weeks before coming home.
He will then have plenty of hacking and weekly training sessions in preparation for the 2008 competition year
